ps: all those who have not finished, read the hints they give you for they are very helpful, plus my own hint- Stop, Look and Think.

I can’t even imagine how difficult it was.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to write back. That was very cool. I have a great deal of respect for you and your wife also. When I was reading the credits for your ROTS (yes I actually like the game enough to read all of the credits) I loved the fact that I kept seeing the same last names over and over. I thought it was great that you and Karen knew what you wanted and did it. I can’t even imagine how difficult it was. My husband can do anything when it comes to computers and I can build anything. But that is putting together something someone else made. You two actually made it. I am very glad for you. Anyway I am rambling and I have already taken up WAY too much of your time. I wish you both further success and all the best of luck.Take care,

I think I will play the game again!, and again!

By Riddle of the Sphinx Testimonials, Testimonials No Comments

I just finished Riddle of the Sphinx. It was an amazing game. The puzzles are hard enough to keep you challenged and not so hard that you get so frustrated that you quit. I started playing adventure games when MYST was released and have found very few beyond RIVEN, RAMA, and Timelaps that have been as unique and captivating as MYST. You have done it with ROTS. The resolution was excellent, the story line superb, the puzzles challenging, and the ending extremely satisfying. I admit that I did review the hint comments from other players on ROTS-Talk who were having similar difficulties. The suggestions given were excellent and did not give the puzzles away. You still had to think for yourself to complete the task. Congratulations to the designers and thank you very much for creating an exciting, thought provoking, absorbing, and wonderful adventure game. I, among the other players eagerly await a sequel. In the mean time, I think I will play the game again! ,and again!

WOW, WOW, WOW
I just finished Riddle of the Sphinx. What an enchanting and wonderful experience I have had throughout the entire game. Hats off to the Toblers for a truly unique experience. The ending was simply breathtaking and its meanings even more so. I will not forget the countless hours I have spent in this game and truly feeling like an explorer in Ancient Egypt.

Also a learning experience…

By Riddle of the Sphinx Testimonials, Testimonials No Comments

We are just finished this game and it was not only entertaining, but also a learning experience. The puzzles were fascinating, and the graphics…outstanding! The only thing that was a little bothersome was the animation and music were very choppy while moving, even though my computer exceeds the optimal criteria, but we are definitely looking forward to the next one. By the way if you don’t have a title yet we’ve come up with one that might work! Riddle of the Sphinx: Path of the Covenant. Looking forward to the next one. Thank you for making such great games!
