I just finished playing ROTS. I loved it! It was very extensive, creative, logical, interesting, and beautiful. I especially liked the underground river and building with the cartouche pool. The music fit the mood of the game. I do have some questions. There were two mummies missing. One from the Bermuda room and one from the Stonehenge room. Where did they go? Also, in the ending Gil alluded to a sequel. I hope this is true. Please, Please, Please don’t loose faith. There are many adventure gamers out there that love this kind of game. Especially one as good as this. Thank You,

It brings adventure gaming to a new plateau.

Again, let me congratulate you and Karen on your tour de force, brilliant, sensational and exceptional Riddle of the Sphinx. It is even more fun the second time around and I think it is because there is no dialogue. Games with lots of “talking” get boring the second time and one tends to click ESC or whatever to proceed rapidly. Your game is one to be savored, as it entices the player to keep exploring and looking with awe at the tombs of the ancients. I LOVED the ending. I pray that your sequel will be financed by the tons of money this game generates. It brings adventure gaming to a new plateau. Bless you and Happy New Year.

It makes me feel like I am there…

I don’t know if you remember me I am a student of Archeology and Egyptology, I gave you a few articles on Egypt. I just got your game for Christmas and I have to say its one of the best games I’ve ever played and for me ( studying to be a Egyptologist) it makes me feel like I am there and really walking on the Sphinx! Wonderful job! Now you and your wife can visit the real thing! Thanks so much! Can’t wait to pass it.

It is the ABSOLUTE BEST adventure game…

By Riddle of the Sphinx Testimonials, Testimonials No Comments

I just finished Riddle of the Sphinx after 5 wonderfully grueling days. I must tell you that it is the ABSOLUTE BEST adventure game I’ve ever played (including such favorites as Riven, Grim Fandango, and Obsidian). The game designers have done a magnificent job with the artwork and renderings, and the puzzles are tough at times but totally logical. GREAT JOB, and kudos to you. I’m already eagerly awaiting the sequel.

These types of games are entirely too rare.

By Riddle of the Sphinx Testimonials, Testimonials No Comments

Had no idea that I would be addressing the author(s) of your splendid ROTS creation when I inquired about the status of my order for the Dead END Guide Book. I am a fan of adventure games with little or no violence, gore, etc. These types of games are entirely too rare. Yours is a beautiful creation worthy of adjectives that I do not possess in my vocabulary. Thanks to you and your wife for such a beautiful rendering of a part of the world that I am all too unfamiliar except for magazines and books concerned with those incomparable wonders of the world…the Egyptian Pyramids and the Sphinx. Please don’t let this be your last. Thanks again.
